Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Thorough knowledge of transportation and telecommunications policy and comprehensive understanding of transportation funding mechanisms at the federal, state and local levels.
• Thorough knowledge and project management experience on projects focused on mobility and innovation, including electric vehicles, automated and connected vehicles, and unmanned aerial systems. 
• Principles and practices of supervision, training and personnel management, including ability to lead project teams and manage pursuits. 
• Knowledge of recent developments, current literature and sources of information, including all guidance released by USDOT, related to zero emission vehicles. 
• Familiarity with citizen involvement and stakeholder engagement techniques and processes.
• Experience working with state DOTs, DMVs, municipalities, counties, transportation agencies and regional planning agencies is preferred.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (in Planning, Public/Urban Policy, Economics, or Geography). Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration or a doctorate/terminal degree preferred. 10+ years of experience working in the planning, legislative, policy, research or transportation engineering field. Experience working with public sector entities and agencies preferred.
