Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO and CHBDC specifications
- Working knowledge of Transportation Association of Canada’s Geometric Design Guide for Canadian Roads.
- Experience in Project Management and Construction Administration
- Experience in a bridge technical lead role
- Experience in report and proposal preparation
- Working knowledge of CAD software and collaborative tools such as Autodesk, BlueBeam
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with City of Winnipeg/Manitoba Infrastructure design details and specifications
- Experience in structural inspection, condition surveys and construction supervision is an asset
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. M.Sc. and/or PhD degrees would be an asset.
- Registered (or eligible for) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Manitoba
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of bridge design/management experience
