Senior Bridge Engineer
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience with both post-tensioned concrete, segmental construction and steel bridge structures (Plate girders, Box girders and steel truss elements) is desirable.
Project requirements can also include providing pre-project bridge inspection services and post design services such as responding to contractors' request for information,
Candidates must have a working knowledge and be familiar with FDOT structures design criteria and related structural design software for bridges and miscellaneous structures.
Working Knowledge of Micro-station and Microsoft Office is required.
Must have good command of the English Language, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with various personnel.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.Minimum of 10 - 15 years of bridge design experience.
Professional registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida in good standing. Out of State candidates with the ability to obtain license in Florida will be considered provided that they are in good standing in their state of licensure.
Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
