Senior CAD Designer
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Local experience with WSDOT and Washington based municipalities preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners including clients, local agencies, sub consultants, and utility companies
- Ability to work independently and coordinate work in multiple company offices
- Experience preparing final design plans specifications and assist with construction cost estimates
- Good problem solving and technical writing skills
- Proficiency with MicroStation and knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3d and ability to adhere to a variety CADD standards for a multiple local agency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate in Computer Aided Design and Drafting Technology or Civil Engineering Technology
15+ years of bridge, structure, and transportation drafting experience
10 years’ experience as a Senior CADD Designer
Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time.
