Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Demonstrated ability to maintain or create CAD standards.
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team.
- Participates in interdisciplinary coordination.
- Working knowledge of software programs including but not limited to Autocad and Revit.
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam.
- Working knowledge of structural drawings, standards and an understanding of the way buildings are constructed.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to supervise a small team of Structural BIM Technicians, provide training, delegate tasks and manage project schedules.
- Strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years of structural drafting experience.Typical office environment working with computers at a desk for long periods of time.
