Senior CADD Designer - Roads & Transit
Your Capabilities and Credentials
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Advanced knowledge in MicroStation and AutoCAD is required
- Advanced knowledge of Inroads, Open Roads and Civil 3D
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as good relationship building skills with respect to your interactions with team members, clients and contractors
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel is required
- Effective organizational and time management skills in handling multiple projects, performing a variety of tasks, and meeting required deadlines while work independently
- Mentoring, coaching and training staff
- A strong work ethic with the desire to excel and to achieve
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to others.
- Familiar with Ontario Provincial Standard contracts and details
- A self-starter who can work unsupervised.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Education and Experience
- Civil Engineering Technology diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 10 years of CADD drafting/design experience in an engineering consulting environment preferably Transportation related.
- Member with The Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and Technicians
