Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Willingness to travel for key work assignments
- Interest and commitment to resiliency to natural disasters
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards
- Strong knowledge, interpretation, and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes
- Thorough understanding of structural engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct effective client and agency presentations and written technical report preparation
- Demonstrated leadership experience in professional engineering organizations or equivalent at the professional level
Education and Experience
Masters Degree in Civil, Structural, or Wind Engineering (PhD Preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) License
U.S. Citizen and able to pass the U.S. government’s secret level security clearance is a requirement
Minimum 20 years’ previous experience
