Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) design and management experience a plus
- Marketing skills required
- Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment
- Design-Build or other alterative project delivery experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field. Post graduate degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in the State of Washington (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering and project management experience on mid to large scale transportation or transit projects
- Experience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on mid to large scale projects
- Experience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation and/or transit projects
- Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Business development experience required
Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
