Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, technical leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field at remote sites.
- Dynamic time management to meet project budget and schedule.
- Willingness to travel.
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certificate is preferred or the ability to obtain after employment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
- Minimum B.S. in engineering (i.e., Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, Environmental).
- Licensed as a professional engineer in the State of New Mexico or able to obtain within 6 months.
- 5-10 years of experience working on civil and/or geotechnical engineering projects, focusing on detailed design, site investigation, and technical communication. Preference given to individuals with experience in mine waste/reclamation, survey and competency using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
