Your Capabilities and Credentials
- The ideal candidate has the ability to work with initiative, professionalism and confidentiality, and is able to work independently, multi-task and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of federal and western Canadian provincial regulations and permitting requirements.
- A solid understanding of provincial and federal environmental assessment processes.
- Project management experience with strong attention to detail.
- Familiar with construction practices.
- Field experience is an asset.
- Holding a PMP designation, or interest in obtaining a PMP designation is an asset.
- Ability and desire to coaching and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, client management and business growth.
- Excellent writing and communication skills will be required by chosen candidate.
- Ability to use Excel proficiently and creatively to problem-solve and communicate.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Project and task management experience with strong attention to detail.
Education and Experience
M. Sc. or B. Sc. in Environmental Sciences, or equivalent field of study; and
A minimum of 10 years of environmental and regulatory related project management experience in pipelines, oil and gas facilities, and /or oil sands.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
