Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Develop and implement environmental management systems to continually improve the impact of the organization on the environment.
- Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable development.
- Assist with documenting all aspects of HAS pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health and conservation.
- Take the lead on the Sustainable Management Plan implementation.
- Audit, analyze and report environmental performance to internal and external stakeholders as well as regulatory agencies both State and Federal.
- Promote and raise awareness, at all levels of the organization, of the impact of emerging environmental and sustainability issues
- Assist with Coordination of public hearings and consultations on environmental matters,
- Develop measures and set organizational sustainability targets and develop plans to meet those targets and oversee their delivery.
- Create environmental reports, assuming the lead responsibility within HAS
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
