Senior ESG/Sustainability Consultant
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience serving as a strategic advisor on ESG issues and developing comprehensive ESG risk management strategies and/or programming for clients
- Experience leading multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a history of demonstrating thought leadership in the form of publications, external presentations, or other public-facing communications
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative research skills, and an inclination for problem solving
- Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines
- Experience identifying and cultivating new business development opportunities
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to occasionally travel
Education and Experience
- BS in environmental science, engineering, energy, public health, public policy, sustainability, or related degree; MS or PhD preferred.
- 15+ years of professional experience (combination of experience and applicable graduate training is acceptable) in sustainability, climate change, risk management, and/or management consulting

- Must be business oriented and have a natural inclination to understand how things work, to fix things, to find ways around problems and to jump from problem to problem
- Must be at ease with simple as well as complex tasks, practical and intellectual tasks
- Must be a results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines
- Must be committed to treating colleagues, partners and clients with dignity and respect at all times
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
