We are seeking an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in instructional design to join our team and advance their career. As a senior-level Instructional Designer, you will take the lead in developing training programs on various topics for different clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of training materials for in-person, self-paced, and virtual deliveries.
  • Review training materials developed by others and offer feedback for improvement.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff.
  • Liaise with various vendors that support our team, including LMS provider, webmaster, eCommerce provider, and voice-over talent agency.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
  • Ability to design and develop training materials for adult learners.
  • Ability to tailor content based on project and target audience needs.
  • Ability to interview subject matter experts to extract crucial information needed to develop content.
  • Advanced knowledge of Articulate 360 products.
  • Advanced knowledge of learning management systems.
  • Visual design skills to produce appealing and engaging training materials (applicants with portfolios are encouraged to include them in their application).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Initiative and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

  • The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience as an Instructional Designer and will have graduated from a post-secondary program in education, instructional design, technical writing, communication, or a related field.
  • We will consider candidates with related work experience.
