Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Highly effective in building and maintaining client relationships and leading multi-discipline teams on complex projects.
- Experience in business development, you will be a results-oriented individual with a proven record of accomplishment for revenue growth.
- Thorough understanding of planning and design concepts and regulatory structure.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and public citizen input both virtually and in-person.
- Effective communicator and able to work on and lead teams.
- Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
- Working knowledge of relevant software, such as GIS, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat are a plus.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Effective networking and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting supervising and mentoring talented and motivated professional team members.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in planning, Geography, Urban Studies, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in public and private sector community planning, entitlements, urban design, and land development.
- AICP Certification or Professional licensure or ability to obtain same is required.

Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required to meet with reviewing agencies or clients or to attend public workshops and public hearings. May occasionally visit study areas, construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
