Your Capabilities and Credentials:
- Knowledge of power utility and federal markets in the South East, including their structure and procurement processes.
- Strong existing relationships with the Tennessee Valley Authority and other power clients
- Strong understanding of the TVA market and direction
- Strong business development skills, including proven results securing with TVA and other power clients.
- Significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships with TVA and other power clients
- Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
- Demonstrated successful experience in client service management.
- Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience in leading a team of highly skilled professionals and internal networking across a large enterprise organization.
- Market knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the power utility and/or federal markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, coordination and management skills
- Experience with responding to Request for Proposals, Expression of Interests, Statement of Qualifications.
- An entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of the business development challenges of a consulting-services provider
- Travel as required to fill role responsibilities.
- Veterans are encouraged.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in project management preferably for large heavy civil, CCR and/or dam programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences.
- Licensed professional engineer with the ability to obtain reciprocity in required states.
- US citizen and permanent resident
