Sr. Architectural Project Manager - Federal
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge of managing all phases of AE projects including project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of DoD design standards such as UFCs.
- Knowledge of USACE and NAVFAC design and execution procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Tracking record of delivering projects on time and budget.
- Effectively manages multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Skilled in facilitating internal and external project team meetings, monitoring, tracking, and controlling outcomes to resolve issues, conflict, and prioritization.
- Team player with the client, project team, and partnering contractors.
- Effective negotiator and communicator.
- Adaptive and strategic.
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Projects; Prefer experience with Revit.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
Must be a licensed architect. California licensure preferred. (or licensed in the home-office state)
Minimum 20 years of experience in the architectural-engineering industry of which minimum 7 years of experience as a project manager in architectural-engineering firms.
Department of Defense experience preferred especially experience with NAVFAC and USACE.
LEED AP a plus.
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
