Senior Project Manager/Structural Engineer
You Capabilities and Credentials
- Thorough understanding of NHDOT design standards and practices.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
- Experience in a bridge engineering technical lead role.
- Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and schedule.
- Effective verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in MicroStation, AutoCAD products and MathCAD.
- Experience using bridge design and analysis software (Merlin-Dash, CSiBridge, STAAD, AASHTOware, LPile, Group, LEAP-steel/concrete, etc.)
- Experience with bridge inspection and load rating.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues, and solutions to others
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering & Licensed Professional Engineer required, Master’s degree in Structural Engineering desired.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
Position will primarily be in an office setting; may require some field work. The ability to work some from home will be extended to the candidate once in-office working relationships are established.
