Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Proven project management experience on water infrastructure projects.
- Experience working with provincial, municipal, irrigation, community development, mining and industrial clients in Alberta and Western Canada.
- Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Understands all phases of delivery for multi-disciplinary assessment and design projects related to water and water infrastructure.
- Collaborative in nature, with sufficient technical ability and experience to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Technical experience in key areas of civil, water resources or water treatment engineering.
- Advanced understanding of project management concepts and principles. PMP Certification would be an asset.
- Experience with the use of Microsoft Office software suite. Experience with Microsoft Project is an asset.
- Highly skilled in technical writing and literacy for: engineering assessment and design reports, contracts, proposals, promotional and project communications.
- Experienced at communicating technical material to stakeholders and persons with varying levels of technical understanding.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent.
- Eligible to be licensed as a P.Eng. with APEGA in the Province of Alberta.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Minimum of 15 years of consulting engineering experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
