Senior Project Manager - Wellington (Water)

In addition to providing traditional engineering, design, and construction management services, we have experience with complex design-builds, alliancing, programme management, information technology, asset management, and business consulting.
Due to significant projects wins in our water group and a solid workload forecast, a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to come and join our team based in Wellington.
In this role you will work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers and project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record. You will have proven experience successfully delivering complex projects, preferably within the three waters industry, working within high performing teams and contributing to the financial success of a business. Excellent organisation and time management skills are a given, along with a high level of financial competency, and an ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved. You will also have the ability to assist with bids & proposals to ensure we can effectively deliver what we promise. Fostering team performance and being an effective and efficient communicator will be essential to your success in this role. You will have demonstrable experience working directly with Client’s to understand objectives and deliver aligned outcomes. You will have ideally achieved Project Management qualifications or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification, have the ability to manage multiple large scale projects and programme management.
We see asset Management, Strategy & Planning in the water sector as key to the success of our business going forward and require whoever steps into this role to be comfortable providing strategic business and infrastructure advice to ensure that we are well positioned for upcoming opportunities in our fast changing industry.
This can be achieved by providing connectivity with our international service offerings and linking this to the needs of our key clients. Key aspects of the role include programme delivery, developing client relationships; client service management; supporting and mentoring staff; and helping deploy the use of resources to bid and deliver projects.
You will ideally have 15+ years’ experience in engineering/build project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure / three waters projects, working within high performing teams, and contributing to the financial success of a business.
