- Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to apply business acumen to project decision-making.
- Experience in business development, proposal structuring, budgeting, and financial analysis for energy projects.
- Understanding of multi-discipline engineering services related to renewable energy and power generation projects.
- Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic business objectives, ensuring projects align with company goals.
Industry Expertise
- Experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects with knowledge of multiple delivery models (EPC, DBB, ECI).
- Deep understanding of the energy market and emerging trends in the clean energy transition.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Your Education and Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in power generation projects, including Owner’s Engineer roles and detailed engineering/design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, proposal structuring, and project leadership as a "seller-doer."
- Hands-on experience with various project delivery models such as EPC (Engineer Procure Construct), DBB (Design Bid Build), and ECI (Early Contractor Involvement).
- Strong technical background in utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and SharePoint, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel being beneficial.
Position will primarily work in an office setting. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
