Your Capabilities and Credentials
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as engineering, geology, hydrogeology or equivalent discipline demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Computer proficient in Office 365.
- 15+ years of experience as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or regulator versed in sediment remediation requirements; and,
- Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Prior to employment, this position may require the successful passing of a pre-employment physical and/or drug screen.
Preferred Requirements:
- Licensed Engineer or Geologist in Oregon and/or Washington or the ability to obtain license within one year of accepting offer;
- Master’s degree in environmental/civil, geology, environmental science, or related degree;
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification, and current 8-hour refresher;
- Drafting and/or geospatial design (e.g., GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SMS);
- Fieldwork experience, such as reconnaissance, measurements, sample collection, construction inspection, and instrument handling and deployment;
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
