Senior Transit Project Manager

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Strong oral and written communication skills a must
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Direct experience in transit planning and engineering projects
• Comprehensive approach to challenges and problem-solving
• Experience managing multiple transportation projects, and maintaining an organized project file environment
• Effective in building and maintaining client relationships
• Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Working knowledge and experience using ArcGIS software platforms is preferred, Adobe Creative Suite software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is also preferred
• Adaptive to new software programs and web platforms (continual learner) 

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Planning, Engineering, Environmental or related field.
• Prefer AICP or P.E. Certification.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience. relevant planning, design, and project management experience on transit infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Understanding of the FTA Project Development process and technical activities, including NEPA compliance, project justification analysis, and financial planning.
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
• Active membership and participation in professional societies is encouraged.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some travel to field work sites.
