Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Full knowledge of Tunnel Inspection methods and Current Tunnel Construction techniques; Construction Materials necessary to determine the quality and correct use in projects; and the safe working habits and regulations in relation to different phases of construction.
- Ability to effectively discuss project issues with contractor, project team and clients, including ability to resolve conflict situations.
- Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgement, creativity and innovation.
- Ability to lead in a collaborative project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought and effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and understanding of task assignment and schedule.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of critical path method scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Education and Experience
At least ten (10) years of recent experience in Construction Management, of which at least five (5) years in Tunnel Inspection of large and complex engineering/construction projects. Experience in two projects or more of relevant, verifiable Tunneling projects with features similar to those of the assigned project. This experience shall include Verifiable Earth Pressure Balance or Slurry TBM projects of diameter greater than 15 ft. Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30-Training Certificate.Position will work in office and field setting. Visits construction sites and works in outside weather conditions.
