Your Capabilities and Credentials
- You must demonstrate sound understanding of Integrated Solid Waste Management including design and operations of waste management facilities. Additionally, your qualifications must include:
- Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills
- Good understanding of regulations, policies, approvals and guidelines surrounding solid waste management and the ‘cradle to grave’ concept for solid waste management
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and MS Project. Familiarity with AutoCAD, HELP, POLLUTE and CTRAN (GeoStudio) will be considered an asset.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in an engineering consulting environment working exclusively on solid waste related projects
- Currently registered as a P.Eng. or Engineer in Training in the province of Alberta or British Columbia; or eligibility for registration with APEGA or EGBC.
