Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of design
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- PennDOT design experience and PennDOT design software a plus
- Knowledge of AASHTO bridge specifications and PennDOT/PTC Design Manuals a plus
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others
- Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various structures
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering or related field. Minimum of 0-5 years of experience. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) a plus.Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
