Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strength in analysis and design including structural steel and reinforced concrete.
- Proficiency in use of STAAD Pro and/or RISA.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and disposition to work in a team atmosphere.
- Experience completing inspections and condition assessments of concrete and steel structures is an asset.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- Experience and knowledge of local clients.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, REVIT, and/or AutoCAD.
- Ability to lead execution of structural discipline scope on projects.
- Experience and knowledge of local clients.
- Ability to travel as required for project assignments.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural.
- A Professional Engineering license in the State of Arizona or the ability to obtain an Arizona license through comity or NCEES record. Licensure or the ability to obtain licenses in other states, such as Utah, New Mexico, and Nevada as needed in the future.
- 6 to 20 years of engineering, design, and construction experience in heavy industry, particularly surface and/or underground mining.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable design codes and familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations.
The following would be an asset:
- A Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Experience and knowledge of local clients.
- Knowledge of REVIT and/or Mathcad.
- Ability to lead execution of structural discipline scope on projects.
- Experience and knowledge of local clients.
