Your Capabilities and Credentials
- General understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of design
- Basic knowledge in MicroStation and any other relevant design software
- Basic knowledge of calculations performed by software
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation
- Takes initiative on tasks and coordinates with other members of the design team
- Basic working knowledge of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions and developing jurisdictional experience and contacts
- Developing ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others
- Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various structures
Education and Experience
- 4th year Engineering student with structural course work. EIT a plus.
- Minimum of 0 years of experience, internship experience a plus.
