- Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and oral communication skills
- Experience with GIS data types, metadata, processing and analysis
- Understanding of raster data collection methods (sUAS, aerial and satellite) and their appropriate utilization
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet firm deadlines
- Working knowledge of military operations, terminology and codes of conduct
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability and commitment to work collaboratively with all groups, including staff, management, clients, and other stakeholders
- Must have or be able to obtain any required federal government clearances, including a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must possess valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Desired Additional Capabilities
- Knowledge of Marine Corps geospatial data standards
- Knowledge of Marine Corps range and training area and special use airspace procedures and scheduling
- Experience in establishing controls for collection and processing of spatial data to meet accuracy and resolution specifications
- Experience with the ESRI suite of geospatial platforms
- Experience with basic videography and video editing
- Experience in photogrammetric processing and platforms
- FAA Part 107 licensed
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, database design/management, information technology, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience
