Your Credentials and Capabilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and develop strong relationships

Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Able to demonstrate solid technical ability

Ability to visualize Equipment Details, Phase to Ground and Phase to Phase Clearances

Solid understanding of substation grounding, lightning, lighting, and busbar studies
-
Ability to manage and deliver Physical Engineering deliverables as per project schedule and within budget
-
Ability to work closely with Senior Engineer/Leads to meet with project time lines for engineering deliverables
-
Ability to understand client specific requirements (standards & specifications) and applicable codes & regulations for preparing physical electrical packages
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in utility AIS HV substation design

Experience with site visits, to capture all technical data needed for estimates and execution of related substation expansions

Registered Florida PE or the ability to obtain a Florida License by reciprocity
-
Experience in Grounding Analysis software such as WinIGS or CDEGS, MicroStation, and AUTOCAD (ProjectWise is a plus)
Typical office environment working with computers and sitting at a desk. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
