Your Opportunity

We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our Land Survey team. Our team provides a full range of survey services including boundary surveying, home building permitting and construction services, calculations for construction stake out surveys, subdivision plat preparation, condominium exhibit preparation, preparation of legal descriptions for easements and parcel boundaries, topographic mapping, construction layout, control surveys, route surveys, as-built surveys, lake cross section as-built surveys, volume calculations and more. Top pay in the industry, based on qualifications.  

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Uses basic knowledge of relevant areas of surveying.
  • Assists the survey team in preparing CAD drawings, reviewing, and processing the results of field surveys, and verifying the accuracy of field survey data.
  • Communicates effectively with members of the team and follows standard procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Basic understanding of survey methods and calculations.
  • Basic knowledge of surveying. Previous field experience is a plus. 
  • Developing knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Standards.
  • 3+ year AutoCAD experience.
  • Capable of reading / interpreting various types of construction and site plans.
  • Good written and communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma and valid Driver’s License. Technical degree/diploma/certificate in a related field is a plus. 
  • 3+ years of AutoCAD technician experience. 
  • Previous experience in Land Surveying. 

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
