Your Opportunity

We provide our clients a full range of surveying and mapping services. Through our work, we define land boundaries and analyze spatial data.

You will work with close guidance and supervision on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Surveyor. You will perform surveying, mapping and data collection activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Uses basic knowledge of relevant areas of surveying.
  • Assists the survey team in preparing CAD drawings, under the direction of a senior level technician, by reviewing, and processing the results of field surveys, and verifying the accuracy of field survey data.
  • Assist in transfer survey data to the proper files in the computer network.
  • Communicates effectively members of the team and follows standard procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Basic understanding of survey methods and calculations.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD software and standards.
  • Demonstrates strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
  • Requires ability to work well in a team environment

Education and Experience

Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
