Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and ability to handle sensitive situations/documentation.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to be proactive and flexible in managing a number of priorities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
  • Compliance and risk management expertise along with process improvement experience.
  • Influencing and collaboration skills managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective customer service skills ensuring a positive experience for our internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution.
  • Comfortable working with assignments/relocations to locations that may not have established processes or have had previous assignments.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of Expatriate Tax/Global Mobility tax-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Demonstrated experience with expatriate payrolls, tax equalization policies and new country set-up.
  • Strong expatriate tax and social security experience in a professional service firm along with some in-house Global Mobility experience is preferable.
  • In depth US and UK (dual-handler) expatriate tax experience is desirable.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Travel may be required from time to time, expected at 10%.
