Hamilton Transport Team require a Team Lead to support staff development and allow further growth.  Are you someone keen to step up into a team lead road based in our Hamilton office?  You will have the opportunity to work on local, regional and national projects whilst being given the required support and mentoring to develop your own capabilities. You will work closely with the team leads in the wider transport team to identify new opportunities and further grow the business and team.

 Key elements of the role:

 ·         Fulfil the role of Transport Team Lead in delivering projects to clients with the support of the Hamilton Transport team

·         Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture 

·         Setting clear team goals that focus on creating value for Stantec 

·         Delegating tasks and set deadlines for your internal team 

·         Lead a culture of safety in the office and among the team 

·         Identify and understand market trends with local clients

The Team Leader position is a function in addition to an employee’s substantive technical/project contribution role.    

The Team Leader is not a stand-alone position, it is a series of value-adding duties (on top of a substantive position) with an expectation that the duties will take, on average, up to no more than 8-12 hours per week.  The person’s substantive position in their discipline and Business Unit does not change,
