Team Leader - Utilities and WSC

As a result, our St Leonards office is currently seeking a Team Leader with Utilities and WSC experience to join our young and energetic team to continue this success. Reporting to the Group Leader – Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading the Sydney based Utilities & WSC team, collaborating with the Wollongong based Utilities & WSC team and working on major Utilities and Sydney Water developer works projects pertaining to the design of infrastructure for major transport, and community development projects.

Day to day tasks would involve:

Team Lead:

·       Managing a team of engineers, designers and drafters;

·       Provide mentoring and training to develop staff experience;

·       Resource allocation and utilisation assessments;

·       Client management and Business Development;

·       Undertake employee PDP’s.

Utilities:

·       Coordination and management of Utility Design teams;

·       Working with all utilities authority’s;

·       Assisting with projects from lodgements to completion;

·       Collaborating with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations;

·       Data analysis, interpretation and assessment to achieve project goals;

·       Attendance at project/client meetings and engaging in community consultation;

·       Managing projects financials, invoicing, program, quality etc;

·       Review applications, designs and any other Utility documentation prior to submissions to the client or Utility Authority.

Sydney Water:

·       Coordination and management of Sydney Water Design teams;

·       Assisting on projects from Application to Project Completion;

·       Working with clients to design innovative solutions to meet their needs and community expectations;

·       Data analysis, interpretation and assessment to achieve project goals;

·       Attendance at project/client meetings and engaging in community consultation;

·       Managing projects financials, invoicing, program, quality etc;

·       Review applications, designs and any other Sydney Water documentation prior to submissions to the client or Sydney Water.
