Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Basic understanding of general concepts of civil design.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
- Basic experience using Microstation or AutoCAD and any other relevant design software.
- Ability to perform traffic studies, analysis, and modeling using Synchro, CORSIM, VISSIM, Sidra and RODEL is preferred.
- Knowledge of calculations performed by software.
- Developing organizational skills and understanding of task assignment and schedule.
- Knowledge of the Department of Transportation’s legal requirements and design procedures in relevant jurisdictions.
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others.
- Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various exhibits.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT Preferred
