Transportation EIT
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with other engineering design software such as InRoads/Inrail, GEOPAK Site, or Civil 3D.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software including WORD, EXCEL.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages is considered an asset.
- Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and to gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities effectively; uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
- Self-motivated
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (eligible for registration as an EIT) in any of:
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Systems Engineering
- Mechatronics / Robotics
- Biomedical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Prior railway experience is considered an asset. Although individuals without railway experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Typical office environment working with computers and field work may be included exposure to elements including inclement weather. We will ask as part of your development to work in the field safety training and equipment will be provided.
