Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong research skills and open to feedback
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Experience with Synchro, PTV Vistro, and PTV Vissim
- Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Adobe software
- Comprehensive approach to challenges and problem-solving
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology (specialty Transportation)
- Experience with City of Winnipeg and Manitoba Infrastructure projects is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of field related codes and standards
- Working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Autodesk, Adobe, and Bluebeam
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
This position will require a mix of field and office work. Field work will consist of installing and monitoring automatic traffic counting equipment, site visits, and site reviews. Typical office environment will require working with computers and remaining sedentary for periods of time. Flexibility to work from the office or from home. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
