Transportation Intern - Summer 2024

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Internship level transportation infrastructure opportunity is available for candidates with minimal experience. Candidate must be available for internship during Summer 2024.
  
• Strong writing skills and ability to work independently is highly desired.
  
• Proficiency with MS Office software, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required. 
  
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3d, and/or Microstation OpenRoads is a plus.
  

Education and Experience

• Current enrollment in an accredited BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering program is preferred.
  
• Current enrollment in a technical design or CADD program will also be considered.
  
• Previous internship or employment in the consulting industry is a plus.
  

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work. Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Project site visits during design and/or construction with an experienced engineer or designer.
