Transportation Planning - Co-op - Infrastructure (Winter 2023)

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• The candidates will be highly motivated, willing to work in both an individual and team-oriented environment.
• Previous transportation planning experience is an asset, but not necessarily a requirement.
• Strong organizational skills and understanding how to prioritize.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience of transportation planning theory with a demonstrated interest in at least one of the following:
  • Electric Vehicle Charging
  • Mobility Hubs
  • Big Data / Machine Learning in transportation planning
  • Curbside management
  • Autonomous Vehicles
  • Active transportation facilities
• Creative problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel is required.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite, AutoCAD (or similar drafting software), ITE trip/parking generation manuals and ArcGIS (or similar mapping software) is considered an asset not a requirement.
• A valid driver’s license is an asset.

Education and Experience

This opportunity is specifically for post-secondary students enrolled in the Undergraduate or Graduate Honours Planning or Engineering programs (Co-op)
