Transportation Planning Intern/Co-op (Summer 2024)

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Enthusiastic and motivated to learn and develop technical skills related to transportation planning
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience with the production of planning reports and documents
• Additional experience with graphics (Illustrator, InDesign) and mapping/database analysis using ArcGIS programs
• The ability to work in downtown Boston

Education and Experience

In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) or in a Graduate program in Transportation Planning, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods. Some travel may be required, such as delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or attending meetings. May occasionally visit study areas, and construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
