Travel and Mobilisation Officer
About the role
As our Travel & Mobilisation Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for coordinating all aspects of staff mobilisation – from booking flights and accommodation to managing training records and safety documentation. You’ll work closely with a dynamic environment and geoscience team, with clients in the resources sector, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and care.
Day to day tasks would involve:
· Processing of site access requests for employees
· Coordinate all mobilisation logistics including booking staff flights, accommodation, vehicles, freight etc.
· Prepare and manage detailed itineraries for field staff
· Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and project leads regarding mobilisation plans
· Maintain and update staff training matrices, including booking required courses
· Support the team with safety documentation, safety phone rostering and administrative tasks
· Adapt quickly to last-minute changes in survey schedules and update bookings accordingly
To be successful for this role you'll need:
· Previous experience in mobilisation / site administration
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
· Strong communication skills and ability to engage with teams and clients
· Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Exceptional organisational and time management skills
· Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, team-first mindset
· A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on safety
· Safety training is a plus, but not essential
· A high level of safety focus
· Familiarity with onboarding platforms is a plus, but not essential
