If you are in your second or third year of study at university studying engineering, engineering science, mathematics, statistics or related qualifications then we want you to apply for an internship with Stantec. Scope of work
You will be based in our Newmarket Office. Easily accessible by train, bus or bike.
Examples of the type of work you may assist with as part of our team includes:
- Undertaking Geotechnical Investigations throughout Auckland
- Borehole logging
- Project planning and set-up
- Assisting Senior Engineers and Geologists with Desktop studies and modelling
- Assistance with recovery efforts in the Hawkes Bay

Who can apply
To be eligible to apply you must:
- Be in your second or third year of study
- Preferably have a full clean current driving licence
- Studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (preferably with an interest in Geotech)
- Able to commence work from 24th November 2025 to 13th February 2026
