Urban Planning Intern (Summer 2025)

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience with zoning ordinances, comprehensive and long-range plans, either writing or administering.
• Excellent quantitative, writing, computer, and technical skills, including ArcGIS, modeling, and the Adobe Suite
• Self-motivated and passionate about planning and equity
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• The ability to work with others, as well as independently

Education and Experience

• Applicants should be a current student or recent graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or related field.

Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required (add in expected travel %), such as delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. May occasionally visit study areas, construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
