Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (civil or mechanical)
- Qualified professional engineer (PE), chartered engineer (CEng), or equivalent in country of origin
- Min. 15 years’ experience managing designs and supervising the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure
- Prior international experience working in developing countries; experience in Southeast Asia, Timor-Leste or similar locale highly preferred
- Specific experience in the delivery of at least one (1) design-build (ideally FIDIC Yellow Book) water sector project in the last 7 years valued at $60M USD or more; demonstrated experience in the use of FIDIC 1999 Conditions of Contract and/or Certificates of Training a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; additional fluency in Portuguese, Bahasa Indonesian and/or Tetum also desirable.
