Water Process, Civil, or Environmental Engineer
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts of process/mechanical engineering and/or civil/environmental engineering.
- Ability to prepare complete, concise, and organized engineering studies and designs.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to thoughtfully listen and engage with a variety of clients, as well as participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
- Ability to multi-task, lead projects and teams, and coach and mentor others.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation and related BIM systems is preferred but not essential.
- Professional proficiency or fluency in Spanish or a language other than English is preferred but not essential.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.
- California PE license required.
Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. This position is anticipated to include an amount of field work interacting with community water systems around California.
