Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to creatively apply technical knowledge.
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, desire to support team success, and ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing construction documents (drawings, technical specification, opinions of probable construction cost).
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D tools including grading, corridors, and network development.
- Experience with ArcGIS or other Geographic Information Systems software.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
Education and Experience
- Minimum of bachelor's degree Engineering with an emphasis in Civil Engineering.
- With a minimum of seven years of related work experience in civil engineering design, with an emphasis on water resource projects (river restoration, geomorphology, dam and barrier removal, levees, flood control structures, nature-based solutions, green infrastructure, and stormwater management)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Washington required or ability to obtain within one year of start.
