Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to creatively apply technical knowledge.
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, desire to support team success, and ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing construction documents (drawings, technical specification, opinions of probable construction cost).
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D tools including grading, corridors, and network development.
- Experience with ArcGIS or other Geographic Information Systems software.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis (HEC-HMS,HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, HY-8)
Education and Experience
- Education: Minimum of bachelor’s degree Engineering with an emphasis in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: With a minimum of five years of related work experience in civil engineering design, with an emphasis on water resource projects (dams, levees, flood control structures, stormwater management, and/or river restoration)
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license in State of Ohio required or ability to obtain within one year of start.
