- Proven leadership ability
- Ability to mentor and grow a team of engineers in the planning arena

Strong interpersonal skills including strong verbal and written communication and keen listening abilities

Proven project management skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently

Continuing education and professional development including keeping current on new technology and current trends

Demonstrated competency in water/wastewater system evaluations or equivalent water/wastewater system design experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, both internal and external
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Education and Experience
BA/BS degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).Licensed Professional Engineer a plus but not required.
