Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Effective communicator (verbal and written) able to work well with others and/or lead teams.
• Ability to work cohesively with a diverse range of personalities.
• Ability to check the work of others for accuracy and completeness.
• Efficient project execution of multiple concurrent projects.
• Understands project budgeting, scheduling, and delivery process.
• Technical expert in all relevant areas of design and understanding of various construction methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, Adobe/Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Proficient in ArcGIS and hydrological/hydraulic modeling software platforms SWMM, StormCAD, ICPR 4, HEC-RAS/HMS, etc. preferred.
• Become an active member in a local civil, environmental, or water related public works professional organization to promote and represent the firm.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil, or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution. Masters of Science in Civil/Environmental or Masters in Business or Public Administration, from an accredited institution preferred. Licensed Professional Engineer registered in Florida (or the ability to obtain a Florida Professional Engineer’s license within 6 months of hire). Project Management Professional certification preferred. Prior public agency experience preferred. 5 - 10 years of experience or the combination of education and experience.  Design, construction, and management experience in South or Southwest Florida preferred.

Typical office environment working with computers and sitting at a desk. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
