Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant for our Terrace, BC office. This position is perfect for an administrative professional with a passion for customer service and attention to detail. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy consulting office with a team of multi-technical environmental professionals.

As the Administrative Assistant, you would work with the office lead, equipment, and field staff to carry out every day office tasks to ensure the smooth operation of a busy and multi-discipline office.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving
  • Health & Safety records
  • Entries to equipment and truck logs for billing and tracking purposes
  • Records management
  • Stocking and maintaining office supplies
  • Filing, answering phones and mail as needed
  • Submitting and coding vendor invoices and assisting with project expense entries
  • Point of contact for other Stantec offices

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • A willing, adaptable, and flexible approach
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience within a fast-paced, high demand environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in Health and Safety
  • Flexible work hours on occasion
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Education and Experience

  • 0-3 years of previous experience with office support and administration
